Ran Zhou is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management with a concentration on Sport Management. She received her Master’s degree from Beijing Sport University with an emphasis in Sport Economy and Industry. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Beijing Sport University too, specialized in Sport Industry Management. Her research direction focuses on the sustainability and impacts of mega sport events, especially on the legacy issues of the Olympic Games. During the last few years, she has participated in a number of research projects related to sport venue operation, sport event impacts and sport industry planning. Her papers have been presented at many academic conferences on the international level, such as ISSA World Congress, ASIA International Sport Industry Forum and Incheon Asian Games International Sport Science Congress.
